Well what can I say! Candice had this day so well planned it was quite something. Now, if I am honest, the idea of a super organiser to me has always been someone who is a little on the stressy side… But not Candice, adequately nervous perhaps, but not a stressy person… In fact both her and Fraser were a pleasure to photograph… both so sincere and going with the flow.. the day unfolded beautifully and it was perfect…
It all started at Stephen Marr in Newmarket. What an uber cool place. Her hair & make up was just amazing. In this first shot Candice is was having a really lovely moment with beautiful mum Cheryl. Cheryl stopped her in her tracks to tell her how beautiful she looked.
Next we go to Eden Villa. So convenient! Right next to Mantells! It’s a beautiful old Villa with a surprisingly large back garden and many many gorgeous rooms and bits of furniture. A photographers dream location for the getting ready shots…. Here are a few details…
I had to photograph the top bouquet of flowers! These were sent to Candice, from Fraser on the morning of their wedding along with a beautiful note. 10 Points to you Fraser! Not only that, he had been sending Candice flowers all week leading up to the wedding! 10 more points! The bottom bouquet was Candice’s wedding flowers.
The dress was stunning. So simple and elegant… just immaculate!
Her dad was actually quite speechless, it was really lovely. And then (as in photo on the right) Candice had to take another look at herself in the mirror…. so cute.
It was so exciting when she arrived… it was all happening and everything had come together perfectly.
And off she went…. It was such a beautiful and private ceremony tucked away in their own little corner of the domain.
Husband & Wife.
We were spoilt for locations on the creative shoot. I love the domain… It’s so romantic.. Coupled with Candice & Fraser’s style, everything we did looked like something out of an old classic movie!
There’s nothing more beautiful than a bride looking at her new husband… love this shot…
Thank you so much Candice & Fraser for letting me document your day. It really was a privilege.
And thank you to Cheryl for recommending me to your Daughter. I hope I did you proud!
